We are very excited to announce the winners and results for the peanut butter and honey competition that we have been running this past month.
After careful calculation of this past year’s orders, we have concluded that -in 2017- our customers have enjoyed:
Peanut Butter: 3,575 kgs
Honey: 2,190 kgs
So the winners are… drum roll please…
WE HAVE 2 WINNERS FOR THE PEANUT BUTTER!!!
Mel Gray with a guess of 3,620 kgs of peanut butter
Marjory Snelling with a guess of 3,530 kgs of peanut butter.
Both these guesses were 45 kgs off either side of the concluding total!
THE WINNER FOR THE HONEY IS:
Bree Smith with a guess of 2,184 kgs of honey.
That is 6 kgs off the total honey!!! Great guess!!!
Congratulations to all the winners. Please drop in sometime next month to collect your prizes and we will also explain how to go about the monthly freebie!
Thank you to all who entered and made this competition great fun to watch. We thoroughly enjoyed it, as we trust you all did also. And well done to all of you who guessed, particularly those of you who were rather close!!
On reflection, the peanut butter amount surprised us as we originally thought we would crack the 4 ton mark. We assumed this based on the figures from the past 6 months. But our order receipts revealed (and helped us remember…) that indeed there was a peanut shortage for about 6 weeks during the months of January and February. This can happen yearly when the peanuts are in small supply due to being out of season. So be prepared next year to go without your beloved peanut butter for a number of weeks.
Stay tuned for our next competition…!!!
On behalf of the staff at The Full Pantry, we wish you all a blessed Christmas time with family and friends and a happy and safe holiday!!!
